Cupcake A La Mode

Get ready to drool. I wanted to share one of my new favorite cupcake bakeries in Kansas. Apologies to out-of-towners! The shop is called Cupcake A La Mode, and it's in Town Center Plaza. I have no shame in telling you I've gone three days in a row... Mondays they have $2 cupcakes! (Regularly each is $3.25, which really isn't bad considering what you get.

Look at those beauties! From top left they are: Pink Lemonade, Salted Caramel, Hummingbird (bananas, rum, pineapple, cherries... oh god), Bella Nutella, Gold Digger (pecans, chocolate, and caramel) and my sister's favorite Peanut Butter & Jelly.

Bella Nutella (hazelnut and chocolate)

Pink Lemonade (lemon cupcake, raspberry and lemon frosting)

Amaretto (vanilla cupcake with heavenly almond frosting)

Gold Digger (Chocolate cupcake, chocolate frosting, filled with caramel, covered in pecans)

If you're in the area definitely check them out! They taste even better than they look (if that's possible).
