5 Days of Pasta Specials at Osteria dell'Orsa

One of my favorite restaurants in Bologna is on a little side street approximately 1.4 minutes away from our program office. It's called Osteria dell'Orsa and every day they have two new pasta specials for €6-7. When we want to treat ourselves 2-8 of us will go here and have a nice long lunch (with a liter of wine if we're feeling fancy).

I decided to take pictures of my last five lunches at this wonderful place. So here you go, a week in the life.

Monday: Egg noodles with wild mushrooms and crumbled bacon

Tuesday: Spicy sausage curly pasta

Wednesday: Macaroni with gorgonzola and sausage

Thursday: Pasta al torchio with spicy sausage and tomatoes

Friday: Ricotta tortelloni in walnut cream sauce

Osteria dell'Orsa is a wonderful and pretty inexpensive place to stop in for lunch or dinner. It's no wonder it's one of the classier university hang-outs. They also have live jazz nights! Check it out if you're ever in town.
